Hello I’m Anna Goldthorpe and I can’t wait to be your music teacher! I’m a Piano/Voice/Ukulele teacher originally from the US, now located in Queensland Australia. With a B.S. in Music and Psychology from the University of Idaho, 23 years of teaching experience worldwide, and a published author, I bring a mix of fun and expertise to your musical journey. I’m certified by Teach Music Online and the Queensland Music Teachers Association, I’ve been featured in Wunderkeys, Tim Topham's piano forum, and the Teach Music Online Podcast. As a singer/songwriter, I released an EP and authored books like "A Uke Christmas," and "Koala's Campfire Songs" for Ukulele. I am passionate about what I do and can't wait to get you started on your musical journey!

Students also have access to their teacher throughout the week through our favorite app Muzie.Live! They can ask questions, communicate, and share progress. We host quarterly group performance classes where students can make music friends and perform for one another!
Student Recitals & Performance Opportunities
At Anna’s Music Studio, we love celebrating each student’s musical journey! Students can perform in friendly studio recitals, seasonal concerts, and special events, sharing their progress with family, friends, and fellow students. These performances are a fun, encouraging way to build confidence, enjoy music, and create lasting memories.
Gold Coast Composition Competition
At Anna’s Music Studio, students have the exciting opportunity to participate in the annual Gold Coast Composition Competition! Students compose their own original pieces and perform them live in front of an audience, with the chance to win trophies, recognition, and even cash prizes. This inspiring event encourages creativity, celebrates musical originality, and gives students a thrilling stage experience they’ll never forget.
