Studio Policy Quick Guide

• Taking online/In Person lessons is a combination of the following: Interactive videos, customized lesson assignments via Practice Space App, face to face lessons over Google Meet, music apps for learning theory, recording, performing, and more!

• Student's have 4 lessons per month and 2 lessons during the month of December and January.

• An invoice will be sent on the first of each month and should be paid by the first lesson of the month or no later than the 7th(if first lesson falls after this date). Late payments will incur a $25 dollar fee.

• Live lessons will not be made up if there is a time conflict, a recorded lesson will take its place.

• Materials,method books and exams are purchased by the parent.

• Performances and recordings are a high priority. Students should make every opportunity to attend online quarterly recitals.

• Exams are not offered until after your 1st year of lessons. AMEB, AGMS and Rock School are offered in my studio. All exam fees are paid by the parent.

• Performance opportunities such as Eisteddfods, Composition Competition and local Market open mics are also offered to all students.

-October 29 Halloween Video Recital (PreRecorded, not Live)

-November(TBA) Christmas Markets Recital (In Person)

-December 13 Christmas/End of year Online Rectial

Lesson tuition, payment, and missed lessons

Private individual lessons are conducted on a weekly basis for 30, 45 or 60 minutes.

Your monthly tuition will be calculated depending on the date in which you join the studio. All lessons are billed in AUD.

Monthly tuition is based on a 11-month period (Jan 5-Dec 18) and divided into monthly payment installments. Reserving your child’s exclusive lesson time throughout the academic year, whether he/she attends lessons or not. It is not the teacher’s responsibility to reschedule a student’s lesson if he/she has a conflict with another activity. A student who does not attend a lesson will simply miss the benefit of that lesson and the teacher will send a recorded video instead. Your tuition reserves you a weekly time slot and benefits within the studio. Please give as much notice as possible when canceling a lesson. If the teacher needs to miss the lesson, I will credit the missed lesson to the next month's invoice.

Tuition payments are in AUD and will be made through My Music Staff account and will be automated for the 1st of every month. I will send you a link to create an account and automate payments.

Discontinuation of lessons

To discontinue lessons, the student must provide at least one month’s advance written notice. If the student does not provide one month’s advance written notice, the student shall be liable for one month’s tuition in full, even if no lessons are provided during that month.
